The Little Country Preschool is dedicated to providing elite early education for children from 18 months to five years old in Escondido, CA . The school has been under new ownership since July 2021, and after completing an extensive renovation in May 2022, we’ve continued in our efforts to provide a clean and safe environment that allows your child to explore many new and exciting activities that are vital to their growth and development. Our Philosophy

The Little Country Preschool believes all children are individuals and should be allowed to grow at their own pace. Children should be given the opportunity to experience their own world in a safe and secure environment.

Our purpose, through use of a themes-based, age-appropriate curriculum, is to allow children to explore and nurture their social, physical, emotional, creative and intellectual growth.

We respect the parents as being their child's primary teacher and most important provider of nurturing care. We believe that parents and our staff are partners in each child’s care and education.

Our family loves The Little Country Preschool! We started our son there over 2 years ago and we have been very pleased with our experience with what he has learned and the social skills he has gained. The staff are very supportive and loving. They also were a great influence in supporting us with his potty training when he started there. He has a lot of fun with all the art projects they do and loves the play ground! Especially, the big sand box! We recently started our toddler there when he was 21 months. I love that I get daily updates on how he slept for his nap, his wet or dirty diapers and what and how much he ate each day. It is a great feeling knowing our kids are in a loving learning environment while we are at work.

Both my children attended this preschool and loved it! It's affordable, the staff is amazing and always treat my children like their own. They give updates consistently on my children's progress with learning colors, shapes, number etc but focus mostly on making sure the kids are safe and happy. They have an excellent playground in the back with shade and a ton of toys. (My kiddos always love the tricycles.) I would refer this daycare to anyone I know looking for childcare.

Started my son at this school at 18 months and now he's over 2. I immediately noticed a change in him and how quickly he loved it here and was learning so much. He loves every single teacher there and loves being dropped off in the mornings. Myself and my husband know every teacher by name there now because they are all great about checking in with us and answering any crazy question I might have when I'm at work. He is thriving and learning so much. When I ask him if he had a good day he always has such enthusiasm in his response. Being a previous daycare teacher myself, I had high standards and expectations when choosing a school for my son. I can tell every teacher here truly loves and cares for all their children. He does come home dirty occasionally but hey, just means he had a fun day! He's never come home with a rash or anything concerning and they send home daily reports so you know how your child's day and sleep went. Hope this helps any parent looking into this school.
