Bethel Christian Center

I must say that this church and Pastor operate this congregation like a cult as opposed to a warm welcoming church. I have read the good reviews and the bad however we came with open mindsets and were extremely disappointed with the groups of popular members whom seem to talk about their newest members and ask a lot of questions about financial means. I will not attend again and I hope that Bethel will learn to not be so easy to pass judgement of newcomers.

My son went to elementary school here and we attended bible study and church regularly for years. We have moved out of the area so I don't attend regularly but I still consider this church my home and Pastor Ron my spiritual father. Pastor Ron is a wonderful, loving, generous, kind man of God! He is wise and cares deeply for "his sheep" that he pastors, so I know without a doubt that before he makes any decisions he first seeks God and tries to do God's will on every matter. Pastor Ron doesn't take his responsibility as a pastor to this church lightly, he understands that God has placed everyone in this church under his care and that he will be held accountable so he is a praying man of God who always tries to do the will of God in every situation. I also know by personal experience that Bethel is a place of healing and miracles, everyone is truly welcome, no matter one's past. It is because of Pastor Ron's beautiful, obedient heart towards the Lord that healing and miracles happen there through God's Holy Spirit. There were many who attended when I went there that have "pasts". In fact, Pastor Ron's heart for hurting people is the reason they even have a healing ministry there called Celebrate Recovery, many people with "pasts" attended these meetings. I read the review below and I don't know what happened but I do know Pastor Ron is a loving, wise man of God, so if he decided something than it was with much prayer and agony. He also doesn't show favoritism but instead loves all equally. I felt compelled to write this review because I know that the review below would lead people to believe falsely about Pastor Ron, and he is too important to the body of Christ! I believe satan attacks him regularly to try and discourage or negate his incredible impact on the body of Christ and I don't want to see that happen to him or to those he is called to help, heal and love! Pastor Ron is a spiritual father to many other pastors and people, not just to those who attend this church, but to many others around the world. He has a true and passionate heart for God's people, which is why God has made him a "father" over many. I am so sorry for your experience and hurt but I would ask that you not hurt further the body of Christ by hurting Pastor Ron. Again I don't know what happened, I don't attend there anymore, but I do know that Pastor Ron's beautiful, loving heart probably hurt a lot making the decision that he made. Again, I am sure it was with great agony and prayer first. Please pray about what happened, ask God to heal your hurt and pain, and keep in mind that everything happens for God's glory and His church. Being a man of God you would know that hurting another man of God is not God's way and it only makes satan happy to hurt both of you. Love covers. I thank God that Pastor Ron's loving character is shining through right now by not attacking you or your family, but instead he is covering you with love. I pray that God would heal your heart and show you want to do next. I pray that you would not feel rejected but accepted because God loves you deeply, and believe it or not Pastor Ron loves you too, and I'm sure it must have hurt him deeply to make the decision that he had to make. Again, I don't know what happened but I do know the loving, godly character of Pastor Ron and that is where I am speaking from. In my own life God has directed my steps to where I didn't want to go or to endure pain that I didn't want to accept, but I know that He loves me and that He knows best for me so I just keep moving toward Him and trust His directions. Trust God and do good...later on you will know why this had to happen, just like I always found out later on how loving and wonderful God is towards me at all times! I've learned that pain can either make us more bitter or more powerful in Christ...choose the latter my brother. Don't hurt yourself further and don't hurt a loving, godly, obedient man of God like Pastor Ron.

Amazing life changing environment .. great place for the whole family

We would honestly like to Thank God for have given us the clarity to know where we did not belong. We had the opportunity to be a part of this church Bethel in Riverside, for about two months before we were asked to not come back by the pastor due to another church member mentioning about myself being a former felon and you know people don’t judge however they did and still do. Jesus sat with Sinners and yet Bethel is utterly clean and I’m sad to say that my family will miss a lot of the members whom were pure and genuine however it was a great priceless lesson to know where not to go. It’s is not about the judgments a clergyman or pastor can point out at others at Bethel it’s about how much you donate and that earns you the right to be part of this church. As long as you tithe greatly, you can pass judgements here about people’s pasts and and gossip about the misfortunes of all whom attend. Pastor Ron showed his true colors today and again Thank You Lord for providing clarity and giving us the knowledge and wisdom to not act the same and be so ugly. We want to everyone to know that if your past is a bit shaky, you might want to find a fellowship at a true honest to God worship center. Thank You Pastor Ron for reminding us of our past and how much we weren’t welcomed at your church.
