Gillispie School

My family moved from New York to San Diego last summer and finding the Gillispie School has been amazing. We looked at several schools and we are positive that we made the best choice for our two children. We continue to be very impressed with the faculty and staff. Highly recommended.

My family recently moved from Texas to California for Gillispie, where I work and where my daughter is enrolled in Kindergarten. I'm continuing to learn about the importance of raising empathetic children and the positive impact it has on their academic and personal lives; about the need for plentiful play and recess in elementary education; about how teaching children to ask questions and to learn by experimentation and iterative design is so critical. These are just a few areas where Gillispie shines. I'm so lucky to get to see my daughter building the foundations now (kindness, curiosity, communication, love of learning) that will be so impactful on what she can contribute to the world when she's all grown up.

Cost to much, I went there for 7 years I liked it, but I'm sure public schooling would have been just the same. The only difference between Gillispie and La Jolla elementary is there are no iPads no art and thats about is. Oh wait Gillispie charges you over 20,000 dollars a year. no H8 to the G, but it wasn't worth the money. Why have an iPad when you could have an android.
