I would like to say that I have been here since preschool and I graduated today from 6th grade. I can surely tell you that I have made poor decisions here and I have served my consequence. They are not strict, they are wonderful! Mrs.Robosco is currently leaving la Mesa dale so if your kids didn’t attend this school while she was here then you missed out. I can surely tell you that I did have some favorite teachers but I do not want to hurt any teachers feelings, but I can surely tell you that if you plan to have your kids here all the way to sixth grade, EXCELLENT because I can tell you that Mr.Smith and Ms.Luibel (as of 2018) are the most of EXCELLENT teachers you can ever have! Ms.Luibel has a very kind heart and has a dream to make a worldwide Impact on the world, wich she has started with us the kids. We did projects that can affect the WORLD! Have you ever heard of equity? No, not home equity, equity like fairness but not fairness more than that! as stated on google “the quality of being fair and impartial.” impartial do you know what that means, no then look it up. It may say “Fair” but I can definitely tell you that equity does not mean fair, equity means kindness, equity means treating that person the way you would treat any person. Does it matter if their Lesbian? Does it matter if their Gay? Does it matter if their Bisexual? Or does it matter if their Transgender, Queer, Intersex, or Asexual! No it doesn’t, treat that person like you treat your mother! Kind, respectful! Shake hands, give each other a hug it doesn’t matter, treat that person like you treat yourself! Ms.luibel is a very great teacher. And that brings me to Mr.Smith. Mr.Smith you have taught me a lot, family life, math, science. But most important of all kindness and respect. Ms.luibel has of course done just in a different way. Mr.Smith you have taught me that there is no limit, for you there never Is. a couple days ago you told me that some of the kids in your class last year, were kids from your first years of teaching and though you may be 61but I still think you have a lot of power in teaching, I might be making it look like he’s old but no I still think you got a good 40+ years of teaching in you. And I hope that if I ever have children. I will bring them to la Mesa dale elementary and I will beg for Mr.Smith to teach my own son or daughter if he is retired. He also makes some funny jokes just about right when you need it. He says this really good quote from dead poets society, the quote is carpe deim, “seize the day” and to me that means take whatever moment you have and bring the most out of it, take your own path, heck, MAKE your own path, just don’t go the wrong path, go to the good one! Last but definitely not least the great and outstanding principal, Mrs.Robosco! You have taught me a life lesson, if you have a moment to impact the world, take it. Just like carpe deim I feel like that is Mrs.Roboscos life routin. She is like seize every moment while you can, because you won’t have all of time to do it. She has made this school a 5/5 Rating and you are the reason my mom put me in to this wonderful school, you are the reason why I am not kicked out, not saying I should be, but Mrs.Robosco has given me so many chances, I don’t know how I can owe her, I don’t know how I could ever, but I know please go on to another school and do the same exact thing, just please don’t forget me or anyone, counting staff. Please if you can (maybe future adults in this school) enroll your kids! Mrs.Robosco seemed proud, not that she’s leaving but because she’s going to leave the school with a good principal I do not know who she is but I’m sure she’s great. Mrs.Robosco seemed proud that she was leaving future stars and future Steve jobs at the palm of her hands dropping off like water, but I know for a fact she will never forget la Mesa dale elementary (she has been here for 8 years!) because of the great people including her self! Thank you for your time and have a great, great day! - Jordan R ( use to be student)
Me and my cousin go to the same place I love the school Mrs. Rabasco is the best principal ever
This is by far the worst elementary school in la mesa and probably all of San Diego I recently moved here from southeast San Diego. I wasn't to impressed by the teacher staff they currently have onboard at this campus. My 5 year old has ADHD and his first day of school of course he had a ruff start and week to kick off the school year. I told the principle Mrs Rabasco on his I.E.P he was diagnosed with special needs, but they seem not to understand and not care about your kids success and future there. He didn't last long until they had to make him go half day which in my opinion is not a professional way of handle things education wise. Parents if your kids don't have a current I.E.P up to date at dale they won't re evaluate them. I recommend not to take your kids to this elementry they treat these kids like juveniles. I feel like they have a prison style structure system here. Horrible experience. This school puts to much weight and stress on your shoulders. They have no compassion for students here.
BOTH DAUGHTERS HAVE ATTENDED SCHOOL HERE. I HAD CONFLICTS AT THE BEGINNING BUT ONCE THEY GET TO KNOW YOU AND SEE THAT YOU GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES AND INVOLVED IN OTHER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES THEY BEGIN TO KNOW YOU AND START TREATING YOU DIFFRENT.
We will contact you shortly after receiving your request
