Montessori Education Center

Both our daughters attended through 1st Grade, 2000-2002, perfectly prepared for Fairmont Private School. Miss Kathy was amazing, as were all her staff. Both our daughters enjoyed the extracurricular activities of dance and violin.

I sent both of my daughters here from preschool (three years old) through first grade. I would have kept them there longer if I could have. The school prepared them very well socially and academically. The teachers are very caring and there are plenty of opportunities for additional activities (reasonable additional cost), including music, dance, and sports (my daughters learned piano and took dance classes). I looked at a lot of schools before I selected MEC, and the other places I visited were either much more expensive (roughly double the cost) or just generally lacking (too much cartoon-watching, not enough play+learning). Two thumbs up (three if I had them) for MEC!

Great school/daycare awsome teachers and staff. Both my kids are now inrolled for 2017. School should extend hours to 6:30pm. Offer piano,violen, sports, and dance extracurricular activity. Parking is limited durring drop off in the morning and pick up.

This place is located next door to a mental institution... I would be cautious. But I would love to hear from parents who take their kids here.
