North Terrace Elementary School

This is by far the worst school my son has ever attended. They do not conform to special needs. Instead, they send him home with no paperwork. They would not allow him on field trips with the rest of his class unless my wife or I was present. After we spend countless hours in meetings trying to establish a behavior plan for our son, the school expelled him. The teachers and staff are clueless at best. All of the meetings we had and the child's teacher was barely present for them. The principal has no idea what he's doing. Who allows a passion party ( flavored lube) booth at an elementary school fall festival?!?! Disgusting school, disgusting staff. Save yourself and your child some heartache and take them off base.

North Terrace is an amazing school. They have preschool, as well as go from Kindergarten to 8th grade. My son is currently enrolled here and will be attending next year as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. The school property is always clean and well maintained. The principal keeps us all well informed with frequent phone calls. The PTO is diligent in creating wonderful events for families to attend, they have vendors, but I've never seen an inappropriate vendor at any of the events. The school is quite secure, with all gates locked, access is permitted through the main office. There are crossing guards at the intersections before and after school, which I love. The principal and vice principal stand outside as crossing guards in the parking lot.

My boys have been going here for last 5 years. The teachers and the staff are amazing . Im very grateful for North Terrace staff!!

To all those who are talking bad about this school, our Principal, and everything else. You obviously cant be talking about our school since im in 8th grade and I know what this school is like. Its been much more improved. You cant talk bad about a school whose only had middle school for 4 years. The Principal isn't even close to incompetent. You cant talk bad about a school you don't even go to.

I went to this school here back in 2004, I was bullied pretty bad. was told that my father was going to die over seas. sadly enough it ended up happening. the teachers, principles, nor councilors would address the issue. they would not even allow my councilor from outside of school come in to speak with the children who have been effected by the bullying. if possible id place your child else where.. -Erik Blazer
