Being a parent of this school for 3 years it wasn’t what it was when my kids first started attending. I have had several conversations with principal and assistant principal on how children are being treated at this school and have done nothing to fix the issue. My child comes home telling me that her teacher Mrs Cummins embarssed her in front of the entire class. That was last year I brought it to the assistant principal ms. Ortega attention and she said she will look into changing classrooms for my child. Of course that never happened and they didn’t acknowledge the situation at all. This year my child came to and told me that the life duty is telling the kids to SHUT UP and eat there food. I brought it to the attention 2 weeks ago and I continue to ask my daughter if they talked to her about yet, she said no. You would think something like that they would take action right away. But NO like all the other situations I brought up and nothing fixed. This school has no sympathy for there students or parents for example I’m a high risk pregnancy but they won’t let me through the gate because I don’t have a handicap sign. You would think since the staff knows you and all know your pregnant would a least be considerate of a pregnant mother NOT they don’t care. It seems the principal is never around for you to communicate with. What’s the point of have a principal if you are never able to make an appointment with him.

My son went to the pre-school here I for one just didnt like it.. I'm a hands on type and asked mrs.cathy several times If they needed help after school and the ONLY thing she ever said is help putting outside toys away in the bungalow mind you she has 2 "helpers".. I was thinking with decorating the classroom, sharpening colored pencils, whipping down counters etc.. I do wana say she is a very nice lady I have nothing against her I was just frustrated with HOW things were executed.. my son brought home a project one day he had to write things about traditions, the instructions weren't clear but I went out and bought him a card board and cut magazines, pasted stickers etc. It was like 2day later we had to turn in and all the parents were telling me they wished they had done that and they hoped the teacher had said something, we in the class room and the teacher says "ooh I was guna tell eveyone to do something like that but it was last minute" I dont know but that bothered me like GET YOUR ISH together 🙄.. also I asked for a list of songs they sing in the classroom so I can sing with him at home, NEVER got them I believe she said "we sing alot of different ones" 🙄 what kind of bs answer is that.. the last thing is for graduation I asked if i could bring my son a paper made cap and she said "no the school says its NOT graduation its a promotion" 🤨 and I just about had it so I made graduation caps for the entire class and when I took them to the ceremony she said "I cant hand them out if you want to you have to I dont want to get in trouble" 😒🙄 they are just caps I dont think anyone would get fired over it...

Being a mother of adults that attendant this school 10 yrs ago. And now coming to having a younger child attend this school for a few years again. It's safe to say that this school has drop in quality by many manners. From the quality of the front office staff including but not limited to the principle and its staff & its service. By missing medical documents, lack of help, personnel staff being rude, yet belated in servicing you or not being relatively unavailable in addressing your concerns there for making excuses n not being a proactive school. And that's to yet define in many ways the in improper mannerisms of said teachers (Mrs Mackenzie & Mrs Toivonen) Manners that have now lead me to file a formal legal complaint against Mrs. Toivonen at the district level for mistreating my child emotionally. That it has impacted my child way of life. And this coming from it already being addressing with the current principle (Mr. Husbands) of the situations & it not having much integrated change. So please any parents coming into this school, beware, bewarn & always stay proactive in your child education. Don't be a passive parent thinking it will not happen to another child. As sad to come to discover now, that this same teacher (Mrs. Toivonen) has done emotionally wrong to another child racially years ago. Thank you and GOD Bless...
